To strengthen our community impact and highlight the people who make Allure special. We are launching a new initiative: the Allure Charity Spotlight Program. Each month Allure Pest Solutions will support and highlight a charity or cause a staff member has nominated. This is a chance for the Allure team to give back to the community. We hope we can create a positive impact.
This month our team member Alastair has chosen for Allure Pest Solutions to support and highlight Trademutt.
Trademutt is a workwear brand that highlights mental health awareness through eye-catching shirts, hats and other workwear accessories. You may have already seen someone wearing these out. They are hard to miss with funky designs and a patch on that back that reads, “This is a conversation starter.” This helps spark a conversation about mental health that can sometimes be hard to approach. Once started, there is handy QR code in the pocket that provides information to services that can offer support.

Trademutt states on their website they will donate 50 percent of their profits to TIACS, which provides free, professional mental health counselling for the Australian blue-collar community. TIACS allows you to text or call, match up with a counsellor you can speak to each time, and is confidential. You can read client testimonials, learn how to receive support and find more information on the TIACS and TradeMutt websites.
We’re introducing Allure’s Funky Shirt Fridays.
Inspired by TradeMutt, Allure has decided to start our own Funky Shirt Friday tradition by wearing our new TradeMutt shirts. We hope this can provide our team members, other contractors and customers with an opportunity to reach out if they are struggling. Sometimes a simple conversation can make a big difference, and these bright funky shirts are designed to help start those conversations that people may otherwise find difficult to bring up.

We would like to thank TradeMutt for their passion to create real change in so many people’s lives. Their mission to raise awareness around mental health, particularly in the blue-collar community, is something we are proud to support.
By wearing these shirts on Fridays, we hope to continue raising awareness. Remember, you are never alone and there is always someone you can reach out to, whether that is a friend, family member, colleague or a professional support service.
