At Allure Pest Solutions, supporting the community is important to all of us. Through our Charity Spotlight Program, we are able to support and highlight charities that mean a lot to our team members. This May, a team member has chosen Redkite. Redkite is a charity that supports families facing childhood cancer.
According to the Redkite website, everyday 3 families in Australia will find out their child has cancer. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, life changes in an instant. Families are suddenly navigating hospital visits, treatment plans, time off work, financial pressure and emotional stress. Redkite aims to help support the entire family during these times. Redkite supports children with cancer and the people who care for them.
Their services are designed to help families from the moment of diagnosis and throughout treatment, recovery, and beyond. From financial assistance and counselling services to emotional support and practical guidance, their work helps families focus on what matters most, their child.
One of the things that stood out to our team is how practical and human their support is. Whether it’s helping cover everyday expenses, connecting families with mental health support, or social groups like the book club, Redkite provides care that genuinely eases the burden during incredibly difficult times. If you would like to see ways they support or if you require support, visit the Redkite website here.
