- The tapper - an extendable rod of steel that is used to check if the timber is solid.
- A ‘good old’ screwdriver is also required for digging into trees and dirt.
- A torch, of course, for when operations go to darker spaces.
- Last but not the least, a moisture meter to indicate the variating moisture levels in timber or any surface.
The Moisture Meter beeps when it detects an uncommon amount of moisture, and if that surface is inside the house, it’s probably termite activity.
