Our charity spotlight program highlights a different charity, chosen by one of our staff members, each month. We support that charity financially and if possible, in person.
Along with that, we like to get involved in our local communities (typically where our staff members live).

Being a 100% remote workforce has taught us to lean into projects that matter to each of us, that bring us together and unite us in our values.
We have served Brisbane families and businesses since September 2005
Being a locally owned small business, we understand what community support really means and we are glad to give back.
Allure also encourages education, mentoring and professional development for each staff members, not just our technical staff. Currently we have 5 staff members that have completed their Certificate III in Urban Pest Management, 2 staff members that have completed their Certificate IIII in Training and Assessment, 2 administrators who are working on their General Pest Control units and the rest of us are somewhere in between.
This might be one of the reasons that Allure Pest Solutions took home the 10+ category of AEPMA (Australian Environmental Pest Management Association) Pest Manager of the Year award plus the National Pest Manager of the Year award in 2023.
Our General Manager, Kuyan Rider, serves as Queensland Chair and National Board Director of AEPMA (Australian Environmental Pest Management Association), Co-chair of AWPMA (Australian Women in Pest Management Association) and was the 2021 Excellence Award winner for the AWPMA.
Our Operations Manager, Joel Mitchell, also serves on the taskforces of AEPMA and is a driving force behind ensuring Queensland’s West Indian Dry Wood program remains in place, in some capacity, to assist Queenslanders with this invasive species.
A number of our staff members also undertake education in their own fields, for example, Alastair Rogerson, our Pre-construction Manager is trained with Cert III in Urban Pest, Cert III in Training & Assessing and also certified in Pest Species and Weed Management.
We really value our community and our staff and hope that in some way we can make a difference, one step at a time.
