The Allure Pest Solutions team have had an incredible week in Adelaide for Pesticon 2025! This annual conference brings together pest management professionals from across Australia to share knowledge, explore new technologies, and strengthen industry connections — and we made the most of every moment.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear there was so much to see, learn, and explore. We attended presentations from industry experts, discovered innovative products, and engaged in conversations that will help us continue to improve the way we work.
At Allure Pest Solutions, we believe there’s always more to learn. By staying curious, embracing new ideas, and keeping up with the latest industry best practices, we ensure our customers receive the highest quality service. Investing in our team’s education isn’t just a business choice — it’s the foundation of long-term results for the people we protect.
One highlight of the week was the 2025 Australian Women’s Pest Management Association (AWPMA) Networking Breakfast, hosted by our General Manager, Kuyan, and Office & Marketing Manager, Amy, alongside Sarah Cutting from Spiderman SE Eco Pest Management. The event featured the inspiring Taryn Brumfitt, and Amy had the honour of MC’ing the morning. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of community, collaboration, and supporting women in pest management.

Taryn Brumfitt is an internationally celebrated body positivity advocate, bestselling author, award-winning filmmaker and the visionary founder of the Body Image Movement, a global initiative that champions self-love and combats body loathing. Named the 2023 Australian of the Year, she has reached over 200 million people with her transformative message through her films Embrace and Embrace Kids, widely viewed around the world. Her keynote talks, full of wit, heart and purpose, have inspired audiences at Google HQ, Harvard, the White House and SXSW. You can learn more about her work and global impact at TarynBrumfitt.com.
Allure Pest Solutions would like to extend our sincere thanks to Envu for their consistent support of women in the pest management industry and for proudly sponsoring our 2025 AWPMA Networking Breakfast. Your commitment helps create meaningful opportunities for connection, collaboration and empowerment and we’re grateful to have you as a partner in championing change.
We wrapped up the week in style at the Pesticon Gala Dinner, the perfect opportunity to celebrate everything we’d learned and achieved. Kuyan had the privilege of presenting the 2025 AWPMA Excellence Award to this year’s winner, marking a proud moment for our team. This award, which Kuyan was the lucky recipient of in 2021 is proudly sponsored by BASF. Allure Pest Solutions would like to thank BASF for their invaluable support of this award and their ongoing commitment to encouraging and empowering women in our industry.

The knowledge, ideas, and connections we’ve brought home from Pesticon will help us continue to grow and deliver the best for our customers across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and beyond.
Because when it comes to pest management, experience matters — but so does a commitment to learning, adapting, and always striving for better.
