This afternoon, the Allure Pest Solutions team swapped our usual routine for a few hours of professional development at the Bracken Ridge Library, our go-to spot for team meetings and training catch-ups. It’s a familiar place for us, and the quiet setting makes it the perfect space to knuckle down and brush up on the important stuff.
Today’s focus? Termite identification training.
While we’re out on the tools every day, it’s crucial that we continue to refresh our knowledge and stay sharp – especially when it comes to termites. Identifying the termite species makes all the difference for our customers.
We ran through different species, signs of activity, damage indicators, and the key differences between termites and lookalike pests. Even seasoned techs benefit from a refresh – and for some of our newer team members, it was a great opportunity to ask questions, get hands-on with samples, and learn from our more experienced termite specialists.
