If you’ve had a termite management system installed by Allure Pest Solutions, chances are you’ve met Alex. With nearly four years in the pest control industry, Alex has become a familiar and trusted face in homes across Brisbane’s northside.
Like many great careers, Alex’s journey into pest control started unexpectedly—by helping a mate with some labour work. That job involved installing a termite management system, and it sparked a new direction. He’s now fully qualified and one of our go-to technicians for all things termite-related.
“Termites are the most interesting pest to treat,” says Alex. “I love tricky infestations that require a bit of planning to solve.”

When it comes to pest control, Alex is not just about the technical side—he understands that every customer and every home is different. He prides himself on listening to clients’ concerns, setting realistic expectations, and tailoring his approach to suit each situation. One of the most important things he wishes every homeowner knew?
“Pest control is about control—not complete eradication. It’s normal to see the occasional cockroach, especially after treatment.”
Among his many memorable jobs, one that stands out was a particularly intense German cockroach infestation: “They were falling from the ceiling and climbing up my legs. That was one for the books!”
While Alex enjoys the challenge of most pest problems, there’s one pest he’d rather avoid—bed bugs. Unlike other pests, bed bugs can hide in the tiniest cracks and crevices, making them frustratingly persistent. For Alex, the goal is always customer satisfaction, and with bed bugs, that means meticulous work and thorough communication to ensure expectations are managed and the issue is fully resolved.
Outside of work, Alex’s passion shifts from pests to the gym. A former personal trainer with a serious dedication to bodybuilding, he enjoys pushing his limits and staying active. Born and raised on Brisbane’s northside, he’s a local through and through, with a straight-talking attitude his teammates love: “What you see is what you get.”
Alex says the team environment at Allure keeps him motivated. But more than anything, he enjoys knowing his work helps protect people’s homes and families.
“I like helping people—it gives me a purpose. And I really wish more people knew just how destructive termites can be before it’s too late.”
Alex’s favourite suburbs to treat are Everton Hills, Stafford, Chermside, Wavell Heights, Mc Dowall, Mitchelton, Gaythorne, Enoggera, Alderley, Gordon Park, Grange, and Kedron!
